The first Lady of Siaya County Mrs Rosala gave on behalf of Pastor Don of the Light House, 300 pairs of shoes to Phoebes wonderful family. The much needed shoes were part of an event for the Great Lakes Foundation and Connect International. There were many smiling faces and many comfortable feet. I know Bishop Phoebe blesses all of these gifts and donations. It takes a great deal to look after her huge family.

It is International Women’s Day and it is a time to remember all the women we know love and respect. Of course Phoebe Onyango came to mind.
I would need all day to tell you of Phoebe’s achievements over the past 20 years so I will just say Phoebe has the biggest heart, the greatest capacity for love and a great sense of humour. She is driven by this and her great faith to make the world a better place and she does. We could all be a little more like Phoebe. It is a privilege to know you and help you in your work.
