Pastor Tony Rozee visiting Kisumu as a guest Preacher at Gita Chiefs Camp about 20 miles outside of Kisumu
Through their many world-wide connections , Connect International are able to identify worthy causes and connect them with groups of people who are willing to help and support in different ways.
John Chaffe and Tony Rozee first met Phoebe in November 2004. They were invited to speak at a mid-week meeting with Phoebe and some of her church members. That was the start of a long and significant friendship for all concerned. John and Tony were particularly impressed by Phoebe’s attitude to all the children in her care. She provided safety, shelter, food, clothing, and education but more than that, Phoebe recognised and supported their emotional and spiritual needs. Phoebe focused on the development of the whole person in order that they could all reach their full potential. Tony and John were also impressed with Phoebe’s charisma, energy and enduring spirit for the work she is doing.
They supported Phoebe and her work for 20 years but decided to retire and take a well deserved rest from some of the charity work they do. Both Tony and John stay in touch and help where they can. Our heart felt thanks to them and the team behind them good luck and God bless you.
